deSingel kiest voor Adamson

Na een intensieve zoektocht met verschillende vergelijkingstests heeft de Internationale kunstcampus deSingel gekozen voor het merk Adamson in samenwerking met Inytium NV.

Om al te voldoen aan het vooropgestelde geluidscomfort waarvan iedere toeschouwer van de Singel moet kunnen genieten werd er gekozen voor het Adamson Metrix Line-aray systeem voor zowel de Rode als Blauwe zaal. Het maximale verschil in geluidsniveau tussen de voorste en de achterste rij bedraagt slechts 3db.

Omwille van de flexibiliteit en kwaliteit die de ploeg van de Singel wil kunnen bieden aan hun gasten. Is volledige systeem uitgevoerd in Touring versie. Dit betekent dat het systeem zowel kan gebruikt worden in een klassieke opstelling of in een Scene op scene scenario dit voor de twee zalen.

Gekozen Materiaal:

• 6 Metrix Sub’s

• 12 Metrix 5°

• 10 Metrix 15°

• 4 MDC2 Sub dubbel 18 inch front loaded sub’s

Voor een vaste centercluster in de Blauwe zaal:

• 3 Metrix Wave’s 15 Graden

Ander materiaal gekozen voor de multi-inzetbaarheid en de ononkenbare geluidskwaliteit. Dit sinds vorig seizoen.

Jands has announced that its entire range of Vista consoles are now shipping with version 2 of the software. After three years of intense development, extensive testing and finally, use on several major shows and events by beta-testers worldwide — including the opening ceremony of Turku, Finland as joint European Capital of Culture in 2011; the Fifth Gear Live Action Arena at the Autosport International 2011 show in Birmingham, UK; and the BURDA event at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, UAE — the software is now factory-standard with new Vista consoles and available as a free upgrade to existing users.

Jands recently demonstrated the Vista v2 (code named ‘Byron’) at the 2010 PLASA and LDI trade shows, generating a huge amount of interest in the new capabilities the software brings to the revolutionary Vista console. The Vista v2 will receive its official launch at the Prolight & Sound 2011 trade show, Frankfurt this week (6th-9th April).

“The Vista was a huge hit with its basic principle of ‘think visually, work visually’”, said Paul Mulholland, Managing Director of Jands, “and version 2 takes that to a whole new level. We’ve re-designed the whole user interface around this concept and it’s already revolutionised the way a lot of our Vista customers work.”

As well as a revamped visual interface, Vista v2 introduces a host of features, including:

tracking backup – instantly switches control to a synchronised second console or PC if the main console fails for any reason

integrated media server control – including automatic thumbnail import of content from most industry standard mediaservers

matrix and video effects – runs intensity, colour, movement, even video files across LEDs or other fixture types arranged in columns and rows

default and split fade times – provides a quick and easy way to set and edit cue timing, including separate up and down times for intensity.

And just in case you want to stick with version 1 while you get used to version 2, the Vista 2 consoles also offer a dual-boot function.

“We took everything we learned from our customers’ experiences with version 1 and completely overhauled the platform from the ground up,” said Paul Mulholland.”

“The new version provides simpler and faster ways to do existing functions, and at the same time introduces a host of powerful new features all presented in an intuitive visual interface.”

Défi relevé, Défi réussi!

Après presque 40 ans de bons et loyaux services, il était devenu impératif pour Sibelga de remplacer les armoires de gradateurs ADB ATN 5Kw de l’hôtel de ville de la Grand-Place par des équipements plus performants.

Inytium s’est vu confier cette tâche délicate à plus d’un titre. En effet, l’accès à l’emplacement où la nouvelle armoire de gradation devait être installée était pour le moins compliqué, voire impossible. En accord avec le patrimoine, il a été décidé de démonter un ancien vasistas du toit de l’hôtel de ville, qui devait de toutes façons être remplacé, et de rentrer l’armoire avec une grue.

Avec seulement quelques centimètres de part et d’autre de l’armoire, la manœuvre était délicate. En effet, on ne manipule pas une grue de la même manière à proximité immédiate d’un monument classé au patrimoine mondial de l’Unesco que près d’un immeuble classique.

Tout s’est finalement très bien déroulé, l’armoire ayant été installée et câblée à temps pour les festivités de fin d’année.

I strongly believe that this fixture could be next year’s bestseller, but it would be advisable for you to make an investment and consider purchasing one or more demo units, so that it could be presented to all of your potential clientèle.

Quite an acceptable risk, I think, if you consider that we acquired purchase orders exceeding 400 Sharpy during the London show alone.

We decided that the demo units for distributors and dealers will be the first ones to be delivered.

Their expected delivery time is at the beginning of December and we will strictly apply a ”first in-first out” rule.
